Community Support

The past few race seasons have taken a different tone for me.  With BicycleHub as busy as can be I have had to let the racing take a back seat to the wrenching.  But that doesn’t mean the race support has wavered in any way shape or form.

This last season was incredible, offering official services to the Darkhorse Race team as well as privateer Adriano Digicinto. BicycleHub was also proud to be the unofficial wrench of some of Canadas best up and comers like Jack Almond and Blake Bunting. It is awesome to see these guys coming through the shop and working with them to achieve their racing goals.  Team Darkhorse had an amazing year grabbing a ton of podiums across a number of classes and while Adriano’s season was limited due to injury the year was still a great one.

Outside of racing it has been my pleasure to be able to help support the Edmonds Community Bike Fair which is aimed at increasing cycling awareness and getting kids on bikes.  BicycleHub was able to refurbish and donate over 30 kids bikes to this awesome cause. Without the tireless work of Annelise Muller this would not have been possible. She is a BicycleHub Customer turned advocate and mobilized a massive amount of community involvement! Another happy BicycleHub story!
